Jomsom

Jomsom town is located at an altitude of 2734 meters above sea level in Mustang District of Nepal. Jomsom lies on the banks of Kali Gandaki River where the black stone which is known as Shaligram can be found. Nilgiri mountain can be closely observed through this place.

Jomsom is covered while trekking through Annapurna Circuit after crossing Muktinath and Kagbeni. Marpha is the very popular brandy of this place made of apple.

Jomsom can be reached via flight way from Pokhara in just 15 minutes whereas 8/9 hours by road way from Pokhara. Similarly 5 days via trekking route through Nayapul, Pokhara.
